kk, I am playing a MMORPG and I want to start a new guild. Guild name can be 12 chars max, no fancy punctuation. A guild can choose an icon, which appears below a player's name on-screen. There are graphical symbols, but one can also choose alpha-numeric. Now, I fell over laughing when I saw a guild called "earless", who's icon was "F". Which of you can do better?

I say name it assmaster and a B with a fish in the background for the icon.

Sounds great! Except that I can have either a B or a fish :-( They have a fairly limited set of picture icons, but the full alpha--numberic. assMatser is good, though. Thanks. Any more?

I fell over laughing when I read that you fell over laughing when you saw a guild called "earless", who's icon was "F". I mean, that's nearly as funny as that bit in that really old film where Jim Carrey pulls some funny faces, or in that other film where that crazy rubber-faced goofball Jim Carrey pulls some funny faces. Side-splitting! I think I'll call my guild "otato" with a "P" for an icon. Have you involuntarily urinated yet?

Thanks, Balders, I have been away for while, but knew that there was something I missed. Hmm, I also missed one rather important detail - the guild name & prepended icon appear on screen, but if you click on the player for more info, you see only the guild name, without icon. So, yes, Hooligan is right, you need to be able to make a word if you drop the first latter. For instance, no one can object to devout Catholics (can they?), so we could call it (M)assLovers. Or, less pithily (M)assTurbators. I am currently leaning towards "artists" (icon, "F"). But nothing too juvenile, mind you.

Hmm, Stone says "I miss my long lost bladder"... Why not call the guild "ladder", with the icon being a capital "B"?
