the problem with extra-terrestials is that they're busy in their own flea-flicking part of the universe, and have no frickin' idea that we, on this dust fleck, even exist. our measley short-range radio waves have made it out about a relative millimeter, and we will be coal by the time they get to a meter. they exist. they don't know we're here.
