I have an old Dimension 4100 that I'm using as a Video Recorder.
It's old... i've maxxed the ram. I want a bit more power.
So - I'm looking to replace the mobo, cpu, and likely the psu.
Done some reading, got more to do - but can *anyone* guide me on this?

oh yeah - likely new ram too.. tho I've got some laying around I wonder if I could use it.. there's the 512 currently in there, and I know I have some others laying around.. not sure what they are just yet.

Even a faster processor w/the 512 would help...

anyone? Willing to pay for help, if I can afford it...

Found tigerdirect - they've got a few options. Main thing is to verify the compatibility of existing hardware/software, especially since I'm thinking of going with an AMD chip.
