I couldn't understand why the parental time settings I'd set up to limit my kids (aged 10) pc usage kept vanishing.  A windows Vista bug?? 

Turns out that they were waiting until I or my wife was logged on, then sneaking up and deleting it all.  All found and worked out by themselves.
