I'm thinking of a fish that starts and ends with the letter 'k'.  What is it?

I give up what is it?

Kilmarnock

I searched several fish indexes and I couldn't find any that meet that criteria.

Maybe you mean a specific fish, I know one named Kirk.

Ka-nink, known as Malapterurus electricus, an electric catfish, that occurs in much of the Nile system (exclusive of Lake Victoria), the Lake Turkana, Lake Chad and Senegal basins, throughout the Niger system, and in smaller southward flowing basins in west Africa.

Electric Catfish would make a good band name. Like a blues band or a punk rock band.

Kutuk, known as Channa striata, aka the snakehead murrel of southern and southeastern asia.

Is it smaller than a breadbox?
Does it have legs?

There are apparently some 360 species of shark. Now we just have to find one named K(something)shark

From: Send Carobit Mail stone5150 On: 2007/06/18 10:16:22
Some 348 or 349 species of sharks are harmless to humans that doesn't mean people don't hear the Jaws them in their head everytime they see a distinctive fin in the water.

Well, you've got your kidney-headed shark and your Knopp's shark.

No fish starts with a K. They all start with a wag of their tail.

I always thought fish started with F.

The 'k' is silent, like the pee in swimming.

From: Send Carobit Mail stone5150 On: 2007/06/22 08:57:52
So it is like urinating off a cliff? The P is silent?

From: Send Carobit Mail PaulHews On: 2007/06/22 10:33:06
There's no P in urinating...  Almost ironic.

>No fish starts with a K. They all start with a wag of their tail.
Maybe a wag of mama fish's tail and a gleam in daddy fish's eye.  And a whole lot of squirting gooey stuff in the water.  So they really start with an 'ewww.'

Bob, didja get my email?

Killer Shark, Kwik Save Hadock & Kilmarnock were the answers
