Damn, missed this one... FWIW, I'm a big fan of the Motley Fool (www.fool.co.uk and www.fool.com). Currently I think exchange-traded funds offer a good combination of low charges (especially compared to most mutual funds, including index tracking funds), reduced risk and growth potential.
