my gf & i watched helpless as our oldest cat got attacked by a coyote. by the time we got up the hill, the cat and the coyote were gone. 2 hours later the cat came home (we couldn't believe it) shaken, with blood on it's back, so we took it to the 24 hour vet. it was coyote blood. $650 for blood tests & overnight observation. (489 EUR)
who spent money on their pet?

I'm amazed your cat got the better of a coyote. Obviously it wasn't the wiliest one.

For a cat that can kick a coyote ass that seems cheap. I wouldn't piss it off if I were you.

Couldn't you have gotten better rates at an 18 hour vet?

I think it was $300.00 USD to have an eye removed from one of my dogs. It was years ago, so I'm not sure of the price.

The moral of this story?
Don't piss off mac's cat, he's a hard bastard!

he likes to dig his claw into my neck at 3 am, to see if i feel like getting up for a few minutes to put canned catfood out. i'm designing a Rube Goldberg device that'll squeeze out a portion every hour, or maybe when he digs his claw into the device. maybe then i'll get 8 hours!

i don't know, man. squirrels are dirty rodents with sharp evil teeth and a resemblance to something cute and fuzzy. i wouldn't want to get bit by one of those things!

i think they found my cat ... He's sure he spotted a mountain lion near his home, but biologists say it was more likely a large house cat
