This description is "too long" for YouTube. As some of you have already found out, there is a new account out there, named venomfangx1 I wonder what is going on Let's first take the extremely naive view, and assume that Shawn was telling the truth in his last video. His parents have received death threats, and it is for THAT reason that Shawn's account and his personal web site have been closed. I don't believe that for a second, and I will elaborate later on. But let's start by working from that premise. In that case, the MOST likely scenario is that venomfangx1 is a "fanboi" who created venomfangx1 as a homage to his departed hero. If that is the case, I must point out to that person that their actions are further endangering the safety of Shawn's family. There is NO indication that this channel does not belong to Shawn himself, and if the people threatening his parents see the venomfangx1 channel, they may conclude that Shawn is trying to pull a fast one, and make good on their threats. If the person behind venomfangx1 is NOT Shawn, they should respect Shawn's decision to close his account and leave well alone. The OTHER possibility, still based on the premise that Shawn is speaking the truth ([insert blank look here]), is that Shawn himself created venomfangx1 because he simply couldn't stay away from YouTube. In that case I can only say to Shawn: are you completely out of your mind? If you really wanted to enrage those who threaten your family, you should pull a stunt like this. If, as you have said, you reported the threats to the authorities, the LEAST you can do is wait until you get some feedback from them. Please don't be stupid, and bide your time. Once the threat has been eliminated, THEN, by all means, come back and open a new account. But for the sake of your family, be patient! Now. Let's put naivety aside, shall we? If Shawn's track record teaches us anything it is that, I am afraid, we cannot trust a word that can be attributed to him. I would be extremely sceptical as to the veracity of this claim. In fact, he has pulled this stunt before, and that time he even had the affront to point the finger of blame to thunderf00t. If Shawn thinks we had forgotten about that, he is sadly mistaken. This time he is blaming "muslims", and all I can do is note how "muslims" are a "soft" target, about whom many people are willing to believe ANY outrageous claim. It is my opinion that, having realised that blaming Atheists will only land him in even more trouble, Shawn thought that blaming "muslims" would allow him to uphold his claim without too many people being tempted to critically evaluate them. I'm not buying this. There is no indication whatsoever that muslims had recently started paying closer attention to Shawn's channel. I smell a rat. A big one. A Shawn-shaped one. But there are more indicators that make me go "hmmmmmm". Let's look at the message on venomfangxsite: "This site has been taken offline by the parents of VenomFangX, they don't support/share his views." I would be inclined to take THAT message at face value, rather than any claims made by Shawn himself. I can only speak for myself, but, if I had taken matters into my own hands, and if I had closed down my son's web site because I had been threatened, I would have simply closed the site leaving an Error 404. No further information. The fact that that message is being displayed indicates to me that his parents were indeed the instigators of the closure, and that they, themselves, are fully in favour of this action. They did this out of their OWN initiative, without coercion, and I applaud them for it. Which brings me back to venomfangx1 Again, there are two options. The first one is that venomfangx1 is a "fanboi" of Shawn's. In that case, please allow me to gloat for a moment. [gloating] Ok. That aside. The second option is that this is Shawn sneaking back in. Can you imagine it. After having had the riot act read to him by mom and dad, and them taking drastic action to have Sonny Boy come to his senses, he sneaks back in in the middle of the night and starts re-uploading videos. How sad is that? And I can only imagine the shit storm that will ensue when they find out about THIS one. It clearly shows that Shawn, if this is indeed him, has lost any ability to reason. To quote the Avalanches: "that boy needs therapy". If this is Shawn, I can only say one thing: Shawn? Are you nuts? Do you think your folks are NOT going to find out about this new account? Aren't you in enough trouble already? Do you REALLY want to do this? Other than that, maybe, just maybe it's possible that Shawn's folks have actually allowed him to create a new YouTube account, provided he behave himself. And that's fine with me. After all, Shawn is an unending source of amusement. And even he has a right to freedom of expression. As long as he refrains from trying any further frauds, scams and con jobs, I'd be happy to see Shawn return to YouTube. But whoever is behind venomfangx1, let me tell you one thing: you have already been noticed, and trust me, you won't be able to squeeze out a silent odourless fart without dozens of people recording the event and filing it away. Just so you know. Other than that, if venomfangx1 is Shawn, I can only say this: Welcome back

Well, if he started a new account without his parent's permission that at least gives us license to pull the 'honour thy mother and father' line on him, not to mention Leviticus 20:9, and Mark 7:10.

muslim threats... sure, thats believable (not!) Perhaps his parents are behind the closures. This I believe. Too bad they stopped short of confiscating his PC. They are probably thinking its time he left the nest. Im sure he is quite capable of scamming enough money to support himself. One thing that struck me in his begging vid is he said he has to pay parking tickets. I thought to myself 'hmmm, why not park legally?'

if VFX is sneaking back on YT with that name, that would display idiotic non-thought than could ever be articulated. I think the whole thing is another sham, and vfx1 is a fanboi

Maybe we should look into shawns many sock accounts... and maybe we'll see some stuff on Ebay from VFX?!!? Such as a shotgun mic, a cam-corder maybe even a mega-dvdburner-server-thingy!

Form fundamentalist to fraudster; it has been interesting to witness the evolution and downfall of vfx. Sad really, considering he might have chose to take the higher road. Perhaps without the distractions of running his youtube ‘ministry’, he will have time for reflection (instead of constantly trying to save face) and make some wiser choices.

We have come to a mutual agreement and have signed a written contract. My legal trouble is over.
