While EE is taking a pretty lenient line on Blogs, it is still not a near free-for-all as in the Lounge. While you have pretty wide latitude in your blog, you still must adhere to the minimum requirements of the EE Terms of Use (http://www.experts-exchange.com/termsOfUse.jsp).
On that basis, Vee_Mod deleted two of your blog entries:

http://www.expe...national-Fiveskin-Challenge.html
Both of those entries ran afoul of the ToU's prohibition on offensive and/or profane language.
In addition, while your remaining blog entry, http://www.expe...logs/baldrick/B_2937-Pay-Up.html, is not in and of itself offensive, two of the tags you used ("wankers" and "arseholes") are similarly offensive/profane, and thus I have edited those tags.
In the future, please keep your blog entries clean, and save your "colorful metaphors" for the Lounge. A basic rule of thumb: don't post something in a blog if it's not "safe for work".

It's only crappy EE after all (and since you need premium / freemium to even ask a question, it really is utter crap). Stackoverflow.com blows it out of the water as a technical resource.
Better to burn out than to fade away...

Ah well. Seeing as EE is of no use whatsoever unless you either pay up or earn premium (you can't even *ask* questions without premium - WTF?!?!?), it's not exactly the greatest loss to me if I'm booted out. To be fair, I got what I wanted, and managed to be incredibly annoying to the moderation team - spoiling their blog with my bullshit. I'm just sad that the world has lost my valuable research on lateral thinking, the common cold, probability of conception, and of course the international fiveskin challenge...

Roy was getting on in years. He may have left for good. I'll always admire him. I may not have agreed with everything he said or even his method of saying it sometimes, but I admire a smart man who stands up for what he believes in.
