..is it true an African guy was arrested on a plane in AmericA for having flared trousers? The passengers and crew were upset when they spotted the flares in his trousers, then beat him up and arrested him. Is that true?

He had a flare shaped device with a high explosive called PETN (pentaerythritol). He is the son of a wealthy businessman in Nigeria, who reported him to the authorities for his extremist veiws and was on a watch and no-fly list. Someone screwed the pooch on this one, luckily nothing bad happened. Of course rightwingnuts will cry that Obama has failed miserably to keep the US safe, despite the fact he was arrested before he carried out the planned attack.
