Computers have been part of our lives now for 20 years.
How is it that seemingly smart people are SOOOOO computer stupid???
I don't mean "don't know how to program", and I don't mean "can't set up a tcp/ip network", I simply mean "CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO TURN ON A FRICKING COMPUTER" stupid!!!
Or if you tell them to unplug/replug the wireless access point because they can't get to the internet, why do they reboot their computer and tell you that you have to come there because "that didn't fix it"?
Will they become extinct? And how long until that happens???

First I don't think Neanderthals actually went extinct exactly, they just interbred with homo sapiens and were absorbed into the human genome.
With the different variants of humans it is hard to believe we all came from one specific ancestor. A mixed bag of proto-humanoids all fucking until we had a homogeneous race is more believable. Hell even modern humans screw like dogs in the park when left to their own devices, I can't imagine our ancestors being more bound to morality than we are now.

I've got a new neighbour, and must admit that Stone is right; Neanderthals did not extinct.
As far as computer stupid people are concerned; we'll have to live with those till the day you'll need a computer to actually live.
