I never managed to get MySQL to work.  Their interfaces were unintelligible, and were poor compared to those supplied with MS SQL server 2000.

Registering for 'help' etc resulted in regular EMails advertising expensive training courses.  I was genuinely interested in researching its capabilities, but it never got off the ground for me.

I had the same experience as hooligan.

Still, a big coporation gobbling up a widely used free app like that sucks.
