Running two sites, i get a LOT of spam. Outlook does a pretty good job, but misses some and trying to teach it is hopeless. So, I'm using the Junk Filter that comes with the free zonealarm. It does the trick - but it REALLY slows down my emails, and frankly, i'm getting sick of it. I did turn it off for awhile, but having to remove spam manually was more irritating - so I turned it back on.
The actual issue - when I click Send, my system locks up for 5-10 seconds while zonealarm does whatever.
So - I'm looking for something else to use. Cause I can't find a solution to the lockup. Any suggestions. Prefer free, but since this is business, can pay. As long as it works and doens't interrupt my flow of work.

Well... the Thunderbird mail client is quite good; it can be taught... Unless you're forced to use Outlook, it's a good alternative. /RID

Outlook can use the excellent SpamBayes filter add-in. That's even a little better than the Thunderbird learning filter.

What about server side? Do you have any control over the servers?
