Has anyone bothered to check out 'Google Chrome'?  I have it on my Vista64 machine and its pretty nice but a very simple browser.  I still prefer FireFox, but it is pretty nice.

Runs very low overhead (not that it matters, my Vista64 machine is 8 gigs ram and an Amd Phenom Quadcore 2.6, but still for my older Vista32bit machine it might be nice.

It is not as buggy as Opera on Vista (at least) I am not sure how Opera runs on XP since I have 3 machines and the two that were pre-built (my HP Laptop and Gateway 9500) came with Vista.  Then I bought Vista64 OEM for $100 as a System Builder OEM version with my new PC (that I built) .. So on Vista, Opera Crashes a lot.

I use multiple browsers for varied reasons, but mostly I go back to Firefox as my preferred choice.

I do have to say though that Google Chrome is a nifty quick little browser that many of you might find nice (especially for older machines)

I am not sure if there is a Unix version or not ...

Actually, it's all I use and install on new builds and repairs now.  It's stable and faster than FF or IE.  smile

yeah sure is I use (and work) with machines all day and firefox, after 6-8 hours, 5-10 tabs, starts stuttering and needs to be saved, hopefully restored, and restarted, thats why for Business, I use chrome, never had that issue, the systems at the lan here at my company are 24/7 on except for 2 that are allowed to low power sleep but 3 are full bore 24/7 and chrome works great for us!! just wanted to update... that I now love Chrome and use it exclusively for my Business ... also has good useful plugins..
